Allmax Creatine Monohydrate Supplement Review

Now creatine monohydrate can be had for a relatively low price.  What sets the Allmax version apart from many of the other brands is the source of the creatine (Creapure) and the price which is sells for.  It can be purchased for $20 for 1kg (from bodybuilding.com), while other brands do use creapure as well, they can’t even come close in price.  So pretty much you’re paying the price you’d pay for regular mono but getting creapure instead.

Supplementsource.ca Review

Supplementsource.ca is an online Canadian supplement store.  For the most part, it is just like any other online supp store out there.  Spend $99+ and you get free shipping.  Shipping is same/next day shipping.  Selection & pricing is again in line with other online retailers but possibly few bucks cheaper.

Year In Review

To sum it up, I am disappointed at my progress. Along the way, i fucked up quite a few times...

First 6 months, I was making good progress.  I didn't make any changes in my diet and I was losing fat and gaining muscle, awesome!  In retrospective, mistakes made were that I relied too heavily on supplements and did not work the legs (with the exception of doing cardio).

After that I decided to take it a step further.  I started looking into changing up my diet and switching up the routine by switching to a 3 day split.  This phase was 3 months and where I messed up the most.  I was still unhappy with my phsyique due to the fat still on my cheeks and stomach region.  So I decided to go on a calorie deficient diet and lose the remaining fat.  This worked wonders!! But now I was skinny as fuck and that wasn't the goal.  Also during the 3 months, almost all my lifts I couldn't add any weight and I even lost reps on quite a few of them.  This shit set me back soooo much.  I was actually losing strength and...

Then I decided to bulk....which pretty much killed all the fat loss because I went from 1800-2000 calories a day straight up to 3000-3500 and gained a majority of the fat back.  At this point, I didn't give a care about my physique, I just wanted to get stronger.  It was very de-motaviting when you put in all this work lifting weights and you not getting any stronger.  Bulking helped significantly (well, getting enough food did) because 90% of my lifts, I was able to add reps or add weight.  Started to integrate more leg work during this time and things were coming together.  I was still baffled though,  doing all these exercises and I'd only add 5lbs or something to my bench press in a month or so and I wasn't even lifting heavy weights.  I was reading forums and all that, and ppl similiar to me in size and what not, they were jacked and they were similiar in experience, about a year.

Now the good.  Which is pretty short.  gained about 6-7lbs of muscle, lose 6-7lbs of fat..gotten stronger and pshyique looked better though....I thought I'd be further along.  Shoulda been able to bench atleast 1x bodyweight, woulda liked to have gained 10lbs of muscle instead.  I should have been further than I was cuz I was putting in the work. 3 days a week no matter what, in the beginning it was like 3 hours per day, and when i switched to a 4 day split, it was 4 days guaranteed.

Now to look forward to the future.  I have new goals for training year....to join the 1000lbs club.  Which combines squats, bench and deadlift weights to reach 1000lbs.  With the new routine I'm doing I am confident I will be able to reach this goal (won't just be doing stronglifts, but when the time comes, I'll switch routines).  Now 1000lbs will most likely be using 1RM, but I'll just use my current lifts  for now cause there's no way I'm going to attempt 1RM without a powercage.  Currently at 475lbs (using a 1RM calculator, 534lbs)

Meh

Nothing really new to report yet again. Ez curl bar arrived today and good timing too because tomorrow is back/bicep. Just would like to see how much easier it is on the wrists versus a barbell (the one I used was ridiculous short like 2 feet, and it killed my wrists on preacher curls).

I also got some new gloves recently as well. Been using them for like 2 weeks and they kick ass. My old ones were like 7 years old grizzly crap and were too big cuz I thought I'd grow into them. These ones is super snug and grip is very good. Review on that shit coming too, lol.

Skipped legs on sunday, went snowboarding saturday.

Just looking back on the old posts, I started the dirty bulk on like Feb 2, today the 13rd, I did a weigh-in and I was upto around 142 in the morning. Gains!! It's too be expected though cuz I've been eating everything in sight. went from like 2000-2200 calories a day to like 2700-3500 calories a day. It is ridiculously hard to eat all this stuff. There been a few times I been so stuffed, I thought I'd be throwing up. Noticeable gains in fat are in the areas that I wanted to get rid of, the belly and the cheeks. Oh well, there's currently a new target for weight gain, and since with the dirty bulk, there's gonna be a significant increase in fat, so target is now roughly 180-185, then after I'll cut again to 170.

Also, I've started to cut out caffeine. I can for the most part start my day off without caffeine now. I started taking Melatonin to help me sleep, and it has helped my sleep. I'll still wake up during the middle of the night but it is less frequent and I do feel quite a bit more relaxed/refreshed when I wake up. Only side effect I notice is that I have these crazy dreams. Some really messed up shit but I won't go into it. Try it for yourself. Dose 3mg and that works well for me, when I up it to 6mg, feel a little too comfy in the morning, difficult to get out of bed. May be a good thing though cuz I could probably use more sleep.

Until next time. Some big things planned but I dunno if I'll ever take that step forward and see it through and execute it.

Haven't posted a meal log in a while, so I thought I'd do one.

Meal 1 - Whey protein + oatmeal
Meal 2 - 2 reese peanut butter cups & 10 crackers
Meal 3 - 2 beef patties & 6 chicken nuggets, ginger ale
Meal 4 - Rice, chicken, fish & some veggies
Meal 5 - Casein protein + oatmeal + dextrose, some more fish
Meal 6 - 2 pieces of brownies homemade (to be eaten soon)(sugar free)

Calorie counting is pretty much out the window now and eating clean for the most part it out too. I just want to start adding some size and the best way to do it is to EAT, so that's what I'm gonna do. Worry about getting superhero status later on when I reach my desired weight. I was gonna eat a bowl of cereal with meal 5 but felt kinda full and didn't wanna get into full blown itis mode.

Minor update again. It is holiday season, not on any strict deadlines for any goals so taking a week off from the nutrition and just gonna pig the F out.

Feels like maybe creatine is fully out system dropped down to 138lbs. Very irritiating, 170 seems like a long ways away.

Anyways, merry christmas. It's beer time. Haven't drank in so long...

LOL Wow, mike chang must be making some money now, he actually has commercials playing on youtube now.

Minor update on things I forgot about. Cycling off creatine, started last week. Calorie deficient diet is out the window. Eating whatever the fuck I wanna eat now!! Not really still gotta eat clean but just upping calorie intake to around 2750 to 3000 calories a day now, so bulking has started. Been slacking on cardio a bit, but now that I'm not doing full body work-outs anymore, I should be able to start up again and not worry about being to fatigued and whatnot. 45min on elliptical today, that is all.

The journey beings now...bring on the turkey mafuckers!

Canadian Protein is a canadian online bulk supplement store. It offers a wide selection of products without the associated brand name cost and also sells brand name products with lower than retail price.

Enough with trying to be the professional review, it's too much work for a dumbass like me. Let's get down to the real shit.

Hungry?

For those wondering, I did not go to bed hungry the other night. After I made the post, I ate 2 reese's peanut buttercups and a bunch of almonds.

My current stats as of yesterday, 145lbs (I usually weigh myself under the same conditions. Wake up, piss & poo then weigh in) and around 15% body fat. The lowest I've been was like 143lbs but that was when I was off creatine, after getting all loaded up again, 147.

Yesterday was a pretty bad day in terms of eating. I didn't eat out and no protein drinks. I honestly did not know what I should have eaten, as I have always relied on these two things. They usually account for like 1000 calories for the day. Since I'm pretty broke right now I gotta rely on what's in the house to eat, and I just can't be bothered to cook...

Today tried something different for breakfast, omelette with red onion, spiced patatoes & mozerella. It didn't turn out very well, bland and no taste.

Meal Log

Haven't done a calorie count in a little but so I'll do one today. With that said though, I am not really restricting myself to the 1800 calories a day anymore though but will most likely stay within the 2000 region. The reason why is, someone told me since I was just pretty much starting out, with my improved nutrition and the working-out, nature will take it's course and that I don't have to worry about cutting right now, it is for later.

Meal 1: 2 eggs + 2 pieces of whole grain wheat bread 310cal
Meal 2: KFC thigh + drumstick, fries 690 cal<-STFU it was toonie tuesday
Meal 3: Life cereal wit skim milk 160 cal
Meal 4: Peanut Butter Sandwich 320 cal

So that totaled 1480 calories, and then Meal 5 was I had what my mom made which was noodles in chicken stock with chicken, and I had a chunk of fish, <-- I was HUNGRY, after I ate I still wanted more food, that was 3 hours ago and right now I'm STARVING!!! So I'm pretty sure I'm above 2000+ cal today, I'm going to assume 2300 but all the same shit anyways my maintenance mark is at like 2500. So at the end of the day break even.

As you may have noticed, no protein shakes today. My tub is depleted and thanks to canadianprotein, I do not have a new supply (I will be doing a review later on to explain). Honestly I think that is why I tried to eat so much today. It was to try to cover the protein deficit I was going to experience. My aim right now is 116g of protein, but let's see if I hit it.

Those 4 Meals totals like 55.6g of protein, and there's no way I had like 60g+ of protein with the fish & chicken cuz I ain't have a lot of chicken and fish chunk wasn't big either.

Really have to work on the eating out meal cuz it's always around that mark, for instance pizza pizza pepperoni slice 680cal, ~100 less but still the same shit to me.

Also last note for today, what's messed up is the amount of calories the fries have, there was soooooo little and that shit ran me 340, I woulda rather had an egg sandwich instead. Lesson learnt.

My Supplement log.

Wake-Up: TP "The Burn" 1 serving (3 pills)
With meal: Omega 3-6-9 1 serving (2 caps), CLA 1 serving (2 caps), multi-vitamin 1 serving (1 pill)
Afternoon: TP "The Burn" 1 serving (3 pills)
With meal: CLA 1 serving, Green extract 1 serving 500mg, Raspberry Ketones 1 serving 125mg
Pre-work out: NO-Xplode 1 serving
Intra work out: Xtend
Post work out: Protein 1 serving (24g), creatine 1 serving (5g)
With meal : CLA 1 serving

That's what my current supplements are but will most likely be cutting the expensive stuff out due to cost, which is the CLA, no xplode. Then switch out for some cheaper products, the burn with just caffeine, and xtend with bcaa plus. When Raspberry ketones are done, i'm off those too.

Dieting isn't about starving yourself, it's about making better choices.
Meals Today

Meal 1 - 2x Bernnie's Bars + 15g almonds: 485cal*
Meal 2 - 2x bbq pork bun: 400cal**
Meal 3 - Protein shake /w dextrose, water + banana: 360cal
Meal 4 - 1x Bernnie Bar & 15g almonds: 285cal(not eaten yet)
Meal 5 - Will find out when I eat, most likely white rice and something else.

Total so far for today 1530cal, since it is like this, I'll probably do like 2 eggs with rice and drop the 15g almonds, i think last time 2egg + rice = 422, so add 422 and subtract almonds, 1867cal

Will most likely not calorie count for the week coming up, due to thanksgivings and how it usually means leftovers. So if I don't update, Happy Thanksgivings. Stay Free.

*bernie's is a homemade protein bar, now where i got the recipe from it's chopped into 20-24 pieces and is at ruffly 250cal each, I got into 30pieces, so I'm just dropping it 200cal

** For the pork buns, chinese bakeries don't have no nutrition guide!! So just looking around the net, I seen as low as 140cal and has high up to 270cal. I just went around the middle, these buns were also of a smaller variety that's why I had two.

Today's Meals

Meal 1 - Brown Rice + protein shake with milk 400cal
Meal 2 - Brown Rice + bbq pork, ~300 cal
Meal 3 - Protein shake /w dextrose & water 250cal
Meal 4 - Almonds 30g 170cal & 75g Humpty dumpy party mix 375cal

Total so far 1495cal, Jumped on the eplitical today, counter said 352cal spent...

For my last meal, I'll probably have between 100-125g of white rice and again a few pieces of bbq pork. So I'll probably end up eating around 1800cal today. Dieting fuckin' sucks, but it is a necessary evil. Stay free. Probably shouldn't have eaten those chips but hey, can't always be so strict.

Yesterday would have been a day of weights, but I believe I strained the trapezius muscle on sunday. Was going to do it today, but it was still hurting some so had to stick with the cardio even though i feel that shit is still fuckin' up my back a bit.
