Work-outs lately have been a little lackluster. Normally dose 200mg caffeine & 500mg green tea extract. Now it gets me going for my warm-up, stretches, and for roughly half my work-outs. After completing half, I start to lose focus. So I felt I needed to look into pre workout supp. In comes the Controlled Labs sample of White Flood.
Sample size was a 2 serving packet, I dosed the whole thing. Flavour of it was fruit punch, mixed it with 250mL of cold water and it tasted pretty decent actually, better than the NO Xplode 2.0 fruit punch. It Hit me within 20-30minutes, First thing I noticed was like slight tingling/burning then thought beta-alanine....what I read on forums was true that does do it to use, lucky it didn't really last that long. When it hit me though, I was WIRED, ready to bounce off walls and hit the weights. One thing noticed though, it hits you hard then there's like a gradual decline intensity (so you get a big spike then comes down a bit and levels off), I like that. First half went well, was banging out the work-out, set after set after set. Then came the second half pretty much had the same drop as when taking caffeine + green tea extract. So just comparing the 2, may have been a benefit to White Flood, felt like I rest time between sets was quicker but not too sure, whenever I'm on these pre-workout supps, time seems to go by a lot quicker.
Still have a same problem as with all pre-workouts I've taken. After every work out, I just feel drained of energy, and need to food fast. In this state though, I'm like a zombie, eating is like a mission and a half. Meal that takes 10mins to eat, I do it in 30mins. At the end of the day, I'll pass on White Flood.
